Aegis Health, a leading provider of exceptional care services in Western Australia, has recently completed construction of a 36-bed Private Mental Health Facility in Perth’s southern corridor. The new clinic which is soon to open, will be offering inpatients therapeutic treatment and support in a safe, modern environment.
During the design and build, Aegis Health required a solution that balanced patient privacy with staff visibility, while also meeting the stringent safety requirements of a mental health facility.
Project Overview
Engaging Larnec, the exclusive distributor of Vistamatic Vision Panels in Australia, Aegis selected the Vista Safe 404 x 404 Anti-Ligature Vision Panel with stainless steel surrounds. The Vista Safe Panel is engineered for safety critical healthcare environments. Triple-glazed glass and marine-grade stainless steel provide long-term resilience, while the lockable system gives patients internal control and staff secure key access.
To confirm suitability, Larnec supplied a sample panel showcasing thumb-turn and key-lock operation. This hands-on demonstration allowed Aegis to validate functionality prior to full installation.
