Larnec’s fire resistant doors are available in the following fire ratings: 60 minutes (FRL 60/60/60), and 120 minutes (FRL 120/120/120). These ratings indicate the door’s ability to withstand fire, prevent smoke drifting in, and maintain integrity, insulation, and resistance to heat transfer for the specified duration. Tell us your desired fire rating, and we’ll provide a solution.
Fire doors must be self-closing and self-latching. Leaving a deadbolt protruding while the door is open will prevent it from self-latching. Therefore, deadbolts cannot be used as the primary lock on fire doors.
